Cwmbran Aztecs maintained their unbeaten start to Division One of the Eastern Valley Table Tennis League with a convincing 26-8 win over Cwmbran Colts. The Aztecs' guest player, Jack Fletcher, was a vey able replacement for Tony Collins and picked up the player of the match award with three wins. There were also three wins for Mark Edmunds and two wins for Andrew Ryder. For the Colts, Mathew Pearce picked up their solitary win.

Second place in Division One is currently held by Cwmbran Blues following their 25-8 win over Cardiff Nomads. The Blues had to rely on two guest players to fulfil their fixture but it was their regular player, David D Lloyd who picked up the player of the match award with his maximum wins. Lloyd was well supported by Ray Goulding and Michal Luckanic with three and two wins respectively. For the Colts Geoff Strangeway picked up a very good win over the higher ranked Luckanic.

The final match saw YMCA Preachers move into third place following a narrow 16-15 win over Blaenavon Aces. For the Preachers Dave Lloyd and Claire Flannagan registered two wins each, but, it was the Aces' Ben Allen proving unstoppable with his maximum wins, who was player of the match. 

In Division Two, Cwmbran Eccentrics maintained their top place with a 23-14 win over Cwmbran Dynamos, who were missing their number one player, Alex Jones. Player of the match was the Eccentrics' John Thomas with his three wins and he was well supported by Ian Shipley with two wins and Lincoln Alford with his win and six points. For the Dynamos Richard Lownsbrough picked up two wins and John Williams with one win and six points.

The side who are looking to be the main challengers to the Eccentrics are North Gwent Cougars and in their latest match beat Cwmbran Devils 23-7.  The Cougars provided the player of the match in Goran Karabar with his three wins. He was well supported by Sam Slatter and Jon Deacon with their two wins each. For the Devils it was only Stan Williams who could provide any opposition to the Cougars with his two wins.

The final match in Division Two saw Cwmbran Fellows collect their first win of the season with a 21-14 win over Cwmbran Panthers. The Fellows' Wayne Ford picked up the player of the match award with his maximum wins and he was well supported by Mick Mellor with two wins and Peter Teichner with one win and six points. For the Panthers, Howard Gaut collected two wins and guest player Haydn Skinner one win and five points.
