GLOS SENIOR CLOSED CHAMPIONSHIPS DEC 2, 2018.

This was Cheltenham TTA’s turn to organise the Glos Senior Closed, which was played at the Cheltenham YMCA Sports Hall.

In semis Darren Griffin beat Luke Moffat, Alex Emms beat Liwu Wei.

Gloucestershire over 60s travelled to Cippenham for the first weekends round of matches. The travelling team was Dave Harvey, Dave Adamson, Gordon Shaw, Tom Watmore and Christine Williams.

With another 3 matches to play on 2 March 2019 it's all to play for.

Gloucestershire team played superbly well all day and remain unbeaten after 4  matches, with 3 fixtures remaining which will be played again at Waterside TTC, Southampton on March 30th, 2019.

Report on Glos Junior Closed TT Championships. Dec 1st 2018.

It was Cheltenham TT Association‘s turn to organise this event, which was played at Cheltenham YMCA Sports Centre.

In the semi finals Sam beat Jon 11/7, 4/11, 11/5, 11/7 , and Alex beat George 11/5, 11/8, 11/7 .

Dave Harvey and Darren Griffin have been called up to play for England Vets in the 6 nations in Cardiff on the 7th 8th & 9th September 2018.

Darren in the over 50s and Dave in the over 60s.

Cirencester are running our Bribar bat testing day at Deerpark on Sunday 12th August commencing 9:45am till 15:00pm. Bats, rubbers, kit and expert help on hand from the Bribar people. We will also have food available coffee, Tea, bottled water, crisps and homemade cakes. Please come along as entry is free.
