The 2019 Eastern Valley Table Tennis League Veterans Tournament was commenced this week. There were 18 entries split into 6 groups of 3 with the top 2 in each group progressing to the knockout stage. The winners of Groups A to D ie Tony Collins, David D Lloyd(Blues), Jon Allen and Mark Farrow went straight through to the quarter-finals and the rest progressed to Round One.

Mark Edmunds beat Peter Gordon 11-6, 11-7, 11-5

David Lloyd(Preachers) beat Geoff Strangeway 11-3, 11-7, 11-7

Andrew Ryder beat Michal Luckanic 11-2, 11-8, 11-5

Tony Collins beat Ray Goulding 11-3, 8-11, 11-7, 11-8

Mark Edmunds beat Mark Farrow 11-6, 10-12, 11-7, 9-11, 11-8

Jon Allen beat David Lloyd(Preachers) 8-11, 11-9, 6-11, 15-13, 16-14 

David D Lloyd(Blues) beat Andrew Ryder 11-6, 11-6, 8-11, 11-9

Semi-Final Results:

David D Lloyd(Blues) beat Jon Allen 13-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-6
