t is with great sadness that I learnt that Alan Howse passed away yesterday (22nd December) morning at the age of 80. Alan played in Eastern Valley League for many years representing many clubs across the Cwmbran area.

Alan finished playing in the 2017/2018 season and always said he was the longest surviving member of many of the former clubs including Coed Eva, Fairwater, Ashley House or Cwmbran Stadium.

He represented the area for 50 years and will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
