Cwmbran Aztecs continue to dominate Division One of the Eastern Valley Table Tennis League. In their latest match the Aztecs defeated Cardiff Nomads 24-9. Player of the match was the Aztecs' Tony Collins with maximum wins and he was well supported by Mark Edmunds, also with 3 wins and Andrew Ryder with 1 win. For the Nomads, there was a win each for Peter Gordon and Dave Groundsell.

Blaenavon Aces maintained their second place in the division with a 25-12 win over one of their nearest challengers for the position, Cwmbran Blues. Player of the match was the Aces' Ben Allen with 3 wins and he was well supported by Jon Allen, also with 3 wins and Iestyn Howells with 1 win and 7 team points. For the Blues, Dave Lloyd and Colin Price registered a win each.

Cwmbran Preachers have moved into third place in the division following their 21-17 win over Cwmbran Tigers.  Player of the match was the Preachers' David Lloyd with 3 wins and he was well supported by Eric Turner with 2 wins and Ray Goulding with 1 win. For the Tigers, there were 2 wins for Jeraze Dhanboora and 1 win for guest player John Thomas.

Division Two is still being led by Cwmbran Dynamos, but the gap to second placed Cwmbran Eccentrics as narrowed to nine points with the Eccentrics having a game in hand. Third placed Cwmbran Lions are not out of the race either as they play both the Dynamos and Eccentrics in two of their last three matches and the two leaders meet in the final match of the season.

In their latest match the Dynamos beat Cwmbran Fellows 21-10. Despite his teams' defeat Wayne Ford took the player of the match award with 3 wins. For the Dynamos Alex Jones, Will Smith-Haddon and Richard Lownsbrough secured 2 wins each.

The Eccentrics beat Cwmbran Devils 26-6 with John Thomas picking up the player of the match award. Thomas was well supported by Ian Shipley, also with 3 wins and Lincoln Alford with 2 wins. For the Devils Colin Scott scored their only win.

The Lions beat Cwmbran Panthers 24-12 with Nigel Gore awarded the player of the match with 3 wins. Gore was well supported by John Williams, also with 3 wins and Haydn Skinner with 1 win. For the Panthers there was a win for Howard Gaut and a good win for Mick Mellor over the higher ranked Skinner.
