18th February 2020 Match Reports

In last weeks' matches in the First Division of the Eastern Valley League, the leaders, Cwmbran Aztecs, probably overcame their last hurdle towards the league title. The Aztecs played second placed Blaenavon Aces, who were missing their 2 leading players, Ben and Jon Allen. However they were able to call upon the leading Welsh Veteran, Lee Thomas as a guest replacement. Despite the presence of Thomas, the Aztecs beat the Aces 18-13. Not surprisingly, Thomas was the player of the match with his maximum wins. For the Aztecs, Tony Collins, Mark Edmunds and Andrew Ryder won 2 matches each.

Despite not having a match, Cwmbran Preachers retain third spot.
