Red Press responded to last week's defeat with a 7-2 victory over YMEN. Sean Ellis was once again the star as he picked up three victories, and was ably supported by Seb Frere and Steve Hanson, who chipped in with two apiece, losing to Fraser Krischke and Shamir Bose respectively. They are now just 12 points behind leaders Greetland with a game in hand.

Greetland Social 'B' picked up a massive result as they thrashed Grasshoppers 9-0. It was a shock result in many aspects, most crucially moving Greetland out of the bottom two and above Grasshoppers. Garry Jowett, Chris Lowson and Gilly Broadbent won three each, all defeating the unlucky Jake Clarke in five.

Panthers condemned Hermits to just their fifth defeat of the season as they won 6-3. The returning Martin Bowers and Ben Fillingham won three each, with Fillingham beating Paul McKrieth, Geoff Dunne and Mick Kosmowsky in five.

Fraser Riley's exceptional year continued as he won all three matches in Central's 5-4 defeat to Warriors. His toughest match came against Dave Wood, but Riley did superbly to defeat the experienced veteran in five. Unfortunately for Central, Riley's treble couldn't be back up effectively, with Malcolm Fowler's win over Bob Sanderson not enough to secure victory.

Tradesmen moved up to sixth with a 8-1 victory over BT. Despite Lyndon Harris giving BT the lead with a five end win over Josh Reynolds, Tradesmen ran riot thereafter, with Reynolds winning his other two whilst Stuart Sykes and Jonathan Crossley won three apiece.

Division 2

Central 2 produced a stunning fightback to move to within two points of leaders Hotshots as they beat Rams 5-4. Central came from 4-1 down to secure a morale-boosting victory, with Eric Greenwood and Steve Thomas winning two each. Dave Stretton and Dave Melbourne gave Rams a 4-1 lead with two victories each, both beating Paul Dean whilst Melbourne beat Thomas and Stretton overcame Greenwood. But Central fought back, claiming the next four sets without answer to claim victory.

An outstanding treble for Terry Allington wasn't enough for Ovenden Sports as they were edged out 5-4 by Oakland Raiders. Allington outwitted Oakland's trio, however they responded by dropping just one other set as Saj Mohammed defeated Matthew Horrocks. However, Dave Whiteley and Tony Hemmingway won two apiece, with Horrocks defeating Peter McMullen.

Tribal 1 secured back-to-back wins for the first time this season as they defeated Team G 6-3. Despite a solid three wins courtesy of James Dawber, Team G couldn't add any additional points, with Josh Hill, Carey Baggott and stand-in Richard Musgrove winning two apiece.

Division 3

Leopards are now just 18 points away from winning Division 3 after their 9-0 win over Jokers. There were no signs of the pressure getting to Leopards who dropped just one solitary game throughout the match in a truly dominant display.

Second placed Ramsbridge scraped to a 5-4 win over Sowerby. Ramsbridge came from behind on a number of occasions, eventually turning around a 4-3 deficit to secure a further victory. Phillip Parry and John Korner secured two wins each for Sowerby, both defeating Joe Broadbent whilst Parry impressively defeated Cowburn. However, Cowburn won his next two matches, whilst John Schofield added two to tie up the match, with Joe Broadbent's victory over Alan Shaw securing victory.

Netamatix's incredible run of form continued as they defeated Tribal 2 6-3. John Wasilewski starred with three victories, whilst Michael Craven and Martyn Halliday chipped in with two and one respectively.

Rainbow 2 won consecutive matches for the first time this season with a 6-3 win over Old Town Hounds. The thorn in their side was Neil Coneron who beat Rainbow's trio of Nicholas Miller, Niall Paterson and John Taylor, who all won their other two matches.

Ladies

Ruby now need just 12 points from their final three matches to secure the Ladies League crown after defeating Amethyst 6-3. Whilst Ruby's trio of Karen Levin, Ginny Harris and Jo Sweeney all came unstuck against Chrissy Sykes, the trio won their two other matches to move them nearer to the Championship.

Sophie Yung's three wins for Emerald weren't enough as her side went down 5-4 to Sapphire. Whilst Hazel Green added another for Emerald, Abbie Parker and Faye Curran responded with two victories each for Sapphire whilst Christine Beaumont defeated Sue Garbutt to secure victory.

Finally, Diamond defeated Aquamarine 6-3. It was a good night for Joyce Walker and Faye Curran, who won all three of their matches to clinch victory for Diamond, who remain in fourth position.
