Hollington C and Hollington B fought out a 5-5 draw in the Hastings & District Table Tennis League Division One with the C team indebted to Nick Standen’s maximum. Robin Gibbs and Jamie Martin won 2 each for the C team and joined forces for the doubles win which ensured a share of the points.

Saints B had another crucial game at the foot of the table, losing 7-3 to fellow strugglers Tigers A, which leaves Saints 4 points adrift. Dave Mitchell was unbeaten for Tigers, while Sheila King won 2, as did Adam Keen for Saints.

Another good result for Bexhill E saw them see off NALGO A 7-3 with 3 wins for Brian Beaney and 2 each for Cameron Jones and John Bradbury. Paul Hyland won 2 for NALGO, narrowly losing out to Beaney at 12-10 in the 5th.

Saints D bounced back from last week’s loss to beat Hollington E 8-2 with maximums from Barrie Fletcher and Alan Blackman, both needing 5 sets to beat Bradley Heselden.
