Ron sadly passed away on the weekend of 21 August 2021. He has played table tennis in the Hastings League for many years, playing regularly for Nalgo in division 3 until the 19/20 season.  He was the club’s treasurer.

Ron had been a significant figure in Hastings Table Tennis over the years holding various offices on the committee including Chairman and General Secretary. At the time of his death, he remained the Honours secretary.  He had been the organiser of the Sussex Open and had held a number of posts in Sussex table tennis
