The League programme has started again, now that the Closed Championships period has concluded.
In Division 2, it's the first League Congratulations of the season to ST. GEORGE'S 1ST, whose latest 9-1 win means they are now going to be Division 2 Champions, with an unassailable lead over ROW, who are odds-on to be Runners-Up. Well done to Daniel Broner, Bob Sapuan, Jackie Channell and their occasional reserves. Behind the top two, Adeyfield B have probably done enough to grab third spot ahead of McAlpine.
Division 1 remains the usual close race between Adeyfield 1st and Crown & Sceptre 1st, although Adeyfield 1st have the edge as they look to regain the title they last won in 2015, having a one point advantage and a game in hand, albeit a tough one against Flamstead 1st, who look to be shoe-ins for 3rd spot.
Division 3 remains the tightest title to predict, although St. George's A have moved back up the pecking order, following two consecutive 10-0 wins, including a vital win against Flamstead C, whose own hopes of finishing in the top two probably vanished, as a result, which effectively leaves it as a three horse race between St. George's A, Northchurch B and Adeyfield C, but this one is likely to go down to the wire.
