Wren Cup Final will be between Flamstead 1st and Northchurch 1st. Flamstead beat C&S B in the semi-final by 83 points. Not really a cliff hanger, Angela Smith's painful absence (broken toe - ouch!) meant that Flamstead fielded just two players, Nick Denney and Biao Wang who were both strong and tight enough to see off C&S B despite the usual 20 point penalty. Northchurch beat Adeyfield 1st in a close encounter, with Toofan Khalili, Frank Beck and Simon Whale just doing enough damage to the runaway leaders of Division 1 to get home by 20 points.
Wren Plate final will be between Flamstead C and Northchurch C, both from Division 3. Flamstead saw off their 'A' team quite comfortably by 95 points but must have played well to win a number of games over their Division 2 opponents. The all Division 3 encounter between C&S D and Northchurch C was a close encounter, with Northchurch just shading it by 3 points from a level start.
