Bottom of the table clash ends in draw

 Hugglescote Rams fought back from 3sets to 1 down to overcome close rivals RE Studios1 in Division One on the Hinckley Table Tennis League. Barry Taylor (Rams) was in good form winning his three sets.  Rams were not able to contain the improving Cat “A” in their next fixture however losing out by 7 sets to 3 despite another Barry Taylor maximum. Cat “A” continued their good form defeating Barlestone “B” by 10 sets to 0 and then defeating RE Studios1 by 7 sets to 3 to put them second in the table. Pete Jamieson winning his three sets.

Barlestone “A” took their match with G Ward “B” 9 sets to 1. Whilst Barlestone “B” lost out to Cat “A” by 8 sets to 2.

League leaders Goons secured a comfortable win over Nalgo running out winners by 10 sets to 0.

G Ward “A” defeated Queen’s “C” by 8 sets to 2 and then beat their own “B” team by 10 sets to 0.

Barlestone “A” had another good win beating Cat B by 8 sets to 2. Adam Pettitt winning his there for Barlestone whilst Andy Searle won two for Cat “B”,

The clash between the two bottom sides proved a very close affair, Barlestone ”B” racing into a 4 sets to 0 lead only to allow Queen’s “C” to claw back that lead. Alan Morris and Steve Lawton (both Queen’s “C” securing the double and the 5 set all draw.
