Honey Bee Tournament Target Market

Honey Bee Tournaments are banded by ability. All standards of players are encouraged to take part. With 75 players playing we intend to have ALL players firstly listed in ability order. We do this by using a combination of TTE ranking, TT365 ranking, Vetts society ranking, Local League ranking and knowledge of the players ability. Referee's decision is final.

We then place the top 30 players in band A, the next 20 players in band B and the final 25 players in band C.

Band A

10 groups of 3 to begin over 5 tables. Creates 10 x 1st, 10 x 2nd and 10 x 3rd places. Players then play off one more match against another player who finished in similar position to them in initial groups. Creates 6 groups of 5 players:  A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 & A6. Each of these groups of 5 play on 6 tables in the afternoon in a round robin.

Band B

20 players organised in 5 Groups of 4 in the morning on 5 tables. 4 groups of 5 in the afternoon on 4 tables.

Band C

25 players organised in 5 groups of 5 in the morning on 5 tables. And then 5 groups of 5 in the afternoon on 5 tables where all the winners in the morning session play each other, all the 2nd's and so on ......
