VACANCY FOR CHAIR PERSON OF THE IOMTTA

The election process for Officers takes place at the AGM and anyone wishing to stand for any position on the Committee of the IOMTTA must be, or have already been, proposed and seconded. If the person thus nominated is willing to stand for election, then that person will be given the opportunity to address the members present at the AGM if .

The Committee would particularly welcome early nominations for the position of Chair Person. The AGM takes place on Wednesday 18/4/12 and anyone wishing to stand as Chair Person is encouraged to put forward as soon as possible, in writing or by email, a short Mission Statement setting out their aims and aspirations for the future of table tennis in the Isle of Man. Upon receipt, Mission Statements will be posted on the website, and can be circulated and read out at the AGM.

By canvassing support in this way, anyone wishing to stand as an Officer might receive offers of support from those who may wish to vote for them, but are, for whatever reason, unable to attend the AGM. Proxy votes will be accepted at the AGM, but these must be made in writing, or by email, and should nominate the person to act as their proxy, indicating who they wish their vote to be cast for and for what position on the Committee.
