Grand Prix Round 2

The second round of the Grand Prix series took place on 21st December.

Again 4 clubs participated in Band 1 and the same in Band 2, with the format adjusted to reflect the 11 players in each band to maximise the amount of table tennis played.

Individual winners were again Sam Bailey who edged out Sean Drewry in Band 1, whilst Malc Lewis again took Band 2 where Kerenza Baker was runner-up.  Arbory and Peel both won the team category and so continue to lead the cumulative team standings.

Sam and Malc now are guaranteed to win the Individual series which is based on each player’s best 2 performances from the 3 match series.

The final round takes place on 15th February.
