Coaching at Natland summer 2021

Dear League Members,

I have had a few requests for some coaching so have arranged the following with the Table Tennis Coach from UCLAN.

Dan O’Connell is former Wales national champion, he played professionally in Germany and was recently the coach of the UAE National team.

Dan will be coaching at Natland on Sunday 11 th July and Sunday 18th July and we hope to have reasonably regular sessions after that.

There are two options for getting coaching from Dan either a one to one session or to join a group session.

The group session will be for two hours from 11.00am until 1.00 pm with space available for up to 8 participants.

The cost for the the first group session on the 11th is £6.00 per person and is open for seniors and juniors of all ages and ability. We will aim to pair players of similar ability for exercises and if you wish to book as a pair that is fine.

You will need to book and pay in advance through me. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you wish to book please email me and I will share my BACS payment details with you.(The Club bank account does not have online access so we will use my personal account on this occasion so I can track payments) Once payment is received I will confirm your place. If we have to cancel a full refund will be given. If you have to cancel a minimum of 48 hours notice is required otherwise no refund will be given.

One to one sessions may be booked in half our time slots. The cost for one hour is as follows

£22.60 coach plus £7.20 hall hire cost = £29.80 per hour

£14.90 per half hour

If you only want to do a one to one session or only do the group session that is fine. If you wish to do both then we have two time slots available , one before or one after the group session. Other slots can be made available but you will have a little waiting (recovery!)time between your booked sessions.

I hope this is of interest to you

Best regards,

Peter Leahy
