Kennet Valley Free Church has again entered two teams into the Reading & District League.

The A-team, captained by Julian Telford, includes Cath Venning, Masoud Ghabachi and Mingshen Lin who all featured last season, producing excellent table tennis fighting for every point, ultimately maintaining the team's division 1 status. This season the team has been further strengthened by the addition of star player Graham Mendick, the service specialist Jinghuan (Jordan) Huang and the talented all rounder Femi Iyayi.   

The B-team, captained by Steve Christelow, features the same quickly improving youngsters from last season including Jamie Li-Telford, Lewis Oke and Toby Barter as well as the experienced Russ Moores. A new addition to the team is the club's Under-18 champion Roshan Patel. There are high hopes that this season the team will be challenging for promotion into division 3.
