Roumen Stefanov was the comeback king as he took the men's singles title in the annual closed tournament.
After easing through his group the third seed hammered Gary Pells, who had knocked out sixth seed Bogdan Capusa, in the quarter-final.
In the semi-final he edged out Nigel Metcalfe 12-10 in the fourth end to set up a final showdown with club-mate Kevin Bird, who had beaten Chris Haynes in a topsy-turvy last four clash.
Bird led 2-0 but ran out of steam as Stefanov came back to win 8-11, 6-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-8 and claim the trophy.
Stefanov couldn't add the men's doubles title to his trophy cabinet after he and Bird fell 11-6, 11-4, 11-6 to the Kettering Town pairing of John Fuller and Metcalfe.
In the ladies' singles Burton Baptist's Denise Jacobi won her first title without dropping an end.
Without Nicole Bird and Helen Watts in the field she raced through her first three matches before beating eventual runner-up Lauren Ainsworth 12-10, 12-10, 11-9 in the final round robin game.
Jacobi and Ainsworth joined forces to win the ladies' doubles against Claire Dixon and Mia Solomon.
And it was a trio of titles for Jacobi when she and Kevin Bird took the mixed doubles crown against Ainsworth and Richard Elliott.
In the veterans events Bird beat Metcalfe to win the over 40s while there were wins for Fuller in the over 50s and over 60s against Stefanov and Brian Wooding respectively.
Town team-mates Fuller and Metcalfe were unbeatable in the doubles, adding the over 40s and over 50s doubles to their men's doubles crown.
Youngster Alex Cochrane took the accolade of the most trophies on the day with five titles and two runners-up awards.
He won the under 18 singles as well as the under 18 and under 16 doubles with Danny Verrall, both times against Jacob and Samuel Tattersall.
Jacob took one junior title in the under 16 singles against Verrall.
Kyle Murie won the under 30 singles in straight ends against Cochrane, who had earlier beaten top seed Matt Horrocks for the second time in a day.
In the handicap event there were wins for Rob Warrander (Premier Division), Ken Knott (Division One) and Claire Dixon (Division Two).
Cochrane and Tyler Hillery, both from Corby Smash, won the restricted singles one and two respectively.
Cochrane wrapped up his day with a win in the mystery doubles with Sean Smith over Bogdan Capusa and Nathan Dixon.
And Richard Elliott got his name back on the hard bat singles trophy after beating Kyle Murie in the final.
