It has been brought to the attention of the committee that players representing Chester & Ellesmere Port fielded players who hadn't played the required number of games in their domestic league, in the open age and veterans competitions. Their wins have been awarded to their opponents and the league tables adjusted. The outcome of this is that Bury will be awarded the open age Premier Division title with Warrington runners up. In the veterans competition no major changes.
Similarly in the final of the Open Age cup final Halton fielded ineligible players and as a result the trophy will be awarded to Liverpool.
For the season 2017-18 please could all team / league captains ensure their players play a minimum of 3 matches before 30th April 2018 in their nominated domestic league.
