The finals of the Coronation Cup (Premier teams) and Riley Cup (Championship teams) were held at Trimpell on Monday 20 April in front of a boisterous audience. The Riley final was contested by St Lukes E team of Graeme Moorby, Alan Whittaker and Ray Forbes who had the benefit of 171 points start against the new Championship Division winners Morecambe A . Despite a valiant effort Morecambe found the handicap a bridge too far eventually losing by 34 points.

A much closer contest In the Coronation final between St Lukes A of Chris Knowles, James & Matt Neale with a 32 point start against Trimpell Raptors who had to bring in Alan Holt as a last minute replacement for the injured Carl Stebbing to play alongside Paul Stebbing and Dave Gott. The match was basically even throughout as Paul Stebbing and Chris Knowles played the last shoot out of the night to decide the outcome with the former securing a 4 point win for Trimpell.
