With utmost sadness we inform you that John Earles has died on June 26th.

As you know he served the association in several positions ending as president in 2009. He was president from 2002- 2009 and during this time he tried to visit every club in the league to watch the matches.

I think he became a player in around 1948 or thereabouts. Certainly one of the longest serving players in the league and representing Leamington in The Warwickshire League, Veterans and played for the County.

John was Chairman of the table tennis twinning we had with Bruhl our twin town which he did for the 25 years it lasted. I think John never missed a season playing for Flavels in all his table tennis career. A lovely man who will be missed.
