St Peters A encountered the really good Keal Madrid team. Stephen Read did well to hold off young Harry Keal and Pete Mackie was too strong for both Harry and Ian Sleight in winning two singles. Captain Nigel was back to his fluent best for the Keal’s and helped by two from Ian forced the Keal’s to a 7-3 win.

The B’s entertained the Market Rasen Racers. Paul Moore managed to edge past up and coming Nic Keast by 3-11, 12-10, 9-11, 11-7, 11-9 and Duddy Dudman saw off older brother James in a four game blast off. However mum, Lesley was again in sparkling form and led the Keast family to the winning post by 8-2

The C’s were home to Rustons A for whom Mick Johnson was back at his best with two excellent wins and a doubles win too. Three fine wins to the outstanding C’s captain Bill Holmes saw his team home by 6-4.

Olympians turned out a strong team including the League’s top two players against the A’s. A single win each for two Dans and Matt Hewitt were not enough to stop maximums from Andy Wignall and Mark Donoghue climbing Olympus for a 7-3 victory crown.

Fantastic Five were home to the Warriors of Market Rasen. Two excellent wins for Lewis McFarlane and one each from James Wynne and Ben Applewhite were not enough to stop the Warriors ,with Graham Lacey continuing his fine form with three great wins helped by the ever improving Anthony with two wins and a 6-4 win for the Warriors.

Psycho-Delics hosted Slappers in what turned out to be the Psycho’s best performance of the season so far ,the and best performance by any team this week.

Two Division debut wins for Adrian “Chopper” Haigh and another two from the league’s most improved player Colin Walters plus two more from the evergreen magic spin of Derek Wood proved too much for Slappers for whom Clive Mitchell took two ,in a 7-3 first div One victory for the Psychos.


Unbearables hosted Crusaders D’s  and evergreen attacker Barry Johnson for U’s battled hard to defeat Mark Nolan 18-16,18-16, 11-5.

U’s captain Dave (batterer) Harris eased past Mark Watson by 8-11,8-11,11-9,12-10,11-9 and son
Shaun, gained a great win over Mark by 11-7,3-11, 10-12, 11-9, 11-6.

The match result an excellent second win of the season for the Unbearables by 7-3.

Misfits encountered the roar of the Market Rasen Tigers, Louise Hart of Misfits, had an unlucky evening, losing narrowly by 11-8,11-7,9-11,2-11,7-11 to Ryan Hinson and 11-8,11-9,9-11,5-11,5-11 to Daniel Cox. The star tigress was Sylvia Tyler who along with Ryan won all her matches. The Tigers are the early League leavders.

Crusaders E’s were home to Imps and had an outstanding win by 9-1, with three wins for Rob McCann and Ian Hicklin plus two from Ian Minogue .

Rustons B hosted St Peters B in what was to be the clash of the week!

For St Peters ,Dave Salmon was their  top player winning two of his matches ,but star billing went to Rustons’s with John Bowman throwing the most arrows with three excellent victories and a doubles win, Dick Peacock too was on sparkling form with two excellent wins.
