Keith Williams ( Amlwch) for the 2nd year in succession, retained his Open Singles title at Craig Y Don on Monday.
Keith overcame Stuart Deardon ( Trinity) in the semi final, whist Abichek Bathula (also of Trinity) had a walk over against the injured Mark Bryant (Amlwch).
The final was a well awaited affair as holder Williams had lost to Bathula only days before in the top of table League clash. However, Williams experience came through to win in straight games.
Williams 2nd final of the night, the doubles, was however not be be a repeat for him of last year. He teamed up with Melvyn Booker of (Conway) but the Trinity pairing of Bathula & Deardon had other ideas and aserted their revenge by taking the title.
Booker on the other hand, went on to win the Super Vets (over 60's) title beating the crafty stalwart Bill Williams (Craig Y Don A) in straight sets.
Bill also appeared in the 2nd Division final where bragging rights were decided with (Craig Y Don B) player Ged Harsnape talking the title.
The consolation final saw two newer faces to the event, where Gary Blackmore (Craig Y Don beat Mark Kane (Trinity).
