Division 1 Report.

In Paperstation Division 1, Ledbury Collection returned to form with a 9-1 defeat of undermanned Manor Park Pumas thanks to 2 wins for both Craig Preece and Nigel Foreshew.  Jon Dyke secured Pumas sole victory against Ann Barnes.  Ledbury Rovers were also only able to field 2 players and lost 7-3 against CSSC Ramblers although James Dance won 2 of his singles games including an inspired straight sets defeat of Chris Hewitt.  Alan Salisbury won his 2 singles for Collection and the doubles with Chris, Ady Marshall won Rovers other match.  Pterodactyls secured a 7-3 victory against Crackpots E thanks to another maximum from Wayne Chopping who also won the doubles with Steve Glazzard against Colin Dolding and Dave Steen.  Steve also took a singles with Ian Bell contributing the other 2 victories, Colin 2 and Matt Hodges replied for Crackpots E.  Manor Park Express enjoyed an excellent 7-3 win against Ledbury Lions thanks to excellent maximums from Pete Griffiths and Dale Dickenson, Steve Meredith, Mike Morgan and Jim Ahern replied with single victories for Lions.


 Division 2 Report.

Manor Park Travellers maintained their 100% record with an 8-2 victory against Upton Floods thanks to another maximum from Toby Wren and Martin Snee and 1 for Ken Hipwell.  Martin and Toby also combined to take the doubles in 4 sets against Roger Davies and Pete Nash who each claimed victory against Ken.  Manor Park Rangers defeated Poolbrook Dynamos 7-3 thanks to a maximum from Matt Lang, 2 victories for Lawrence Dodd and 1 from Nick Haggar.  Matt and Lawrence also combined to take the doubles in 4 sets against Tom James and Geoff Burford.  Dynamos replied with 2 wins from Tom James and 1 from John Phillips. Wanderers and YMCA Vulcans shared the points in a 5-5 draw in which Matt White and Charlie Burford won 2 and Andy Banks 1 for Wanderers, Richard Bennett played superbly to take 3 wins and the doubles with Simon Harrison for Vulcans, Beryl Shammon earned the draw for Vulcans with victory in 5 sets against Andy Banks.  CSSC Nomads won 6-4 against X Police thanks to maximums from Dave Hayes and Adrian Fray.  Alan Preece, James Mulka and Malcolm Dalley replied for X Police with Alan and James also enjoying an excellent doubles win against Dave and Adrian.


Division 3 Report.

 Abbeydowne and Panthers drew 5-5 thanks to 2 wins each from Niels Erikkson and Chris Burrows who also combined to take the doubles in 5 sets against Ian Sage and Ewan Gear.  Ewan and Ian contributed 2 singles wins each for Panthers with Collette James defeating Len Hitchman in 4 sets to earn the draw for Panthers.  Crackpots B defeated Crackpots D 6-4 thanks to a maximum from Matt White and 2 wins from Ted Cates.  Matt and Ted also won the doubles against Frank Lane and James Palmer.  Frank 2, James 1 and Tim Dolding 1 replied for Crackpots D.  Ben Meredith continued his promising start to the season with 2 wins for Tekkers but it was not enough to avoid an 8-2 defeat against Devils for whom Liz Hallam scored a superb maximum and Ralph Cook and Denis Chetwood 2 wins each.  Manor Park Crackpots whitewashed Abbey College 10-0 with maximums from Ed Palmer, Stephen Lindner and Will Jones.
