Division 1 Report.
In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 Ledbury Collection demolished Ledbury Rovers 10-0 thanks to maximums from Chris Hewitt, Alan Salisbury and Graham Thompson. Manor Park Express defeated Manor Park Travellers 6-4 despite another maximum from Craig Precce for Travellers. Dave Woodyatt, Dale Dickenson and Pete Griffiths won 2 matches each for Express to earn the victory, Craig and Toby Wren defeated Dave and Pete in the doubles. An undermanned Broadheath Belters still proved too strong for Pumas defeating them 7-3 with both Michael Sikert and Brett Brinning again remaining unbeaten although Jon Dyke and Geoff Woodward battled well in the doubles to take the match to 5 sets.
Division 2 Report.
Dynamos continued their fine start to the season with an 8-2 victory against Wanderers thanks to maximums from Geoff Burford and John Phillips supported by Tom James with 2. Wanderers replied with a single win for Charlie Burford and a doubles victory for Charlie and Dave Bradley against Tom and Geoff. Scuttling Gang defeated Nomads 9-1 with 3 wins each for Richard Cullis and Richard McKenna supported by Ray Davies with 2, Stephen Lindner enjoyed an excellent win over Ray in reply for Nomads. Richard Bennett was again in fine form for Vulcans winning his 3 games to help defeat Crackpots D 6-4, he was ably supported by Manuel Peral and Paul Egerton with 1 win each. Stewart Moss with 2 and James Palmer and Bob Rhodes with 1 each replied for Crackpots. Crackpots E defeated Tornados 7-3 thanks to maximums from Dave Steen and Matt Hodges, Ben Meredith, Ethan Webb and Dominic Weston replied with single wins for Tornados.
Division 3 Report.
Poolbrook Rangers defeated Panthers 7-3 thanks to a maximum from Nick Haggar supported by Pete Nash with 2 and Russ Burford 1. Nick and Pete also combined to take the doubles against Ian Sage and Jude Tyson. Ewan Gear replied with 2 and Ian 1 for Panthers. Crackpots B enjoyed a close fought match 6-4 victory against Poolbrook Juniors , Ted Cates, Alan Forsdike and Alan Eldridge winning 2 games each. James Glazzard played superbly for Juniors winning his 3 matches and combining with his dad Steve to take the doubles against Eldridge and Forsdike.
