Division 1 Report.

The second week of matches In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 saw CSSC Ramblers win again with a 6-4 victory against Ledbury Collection with Chris Hewitt maintaining his 100% record supported by Alan Salisbury with 2, Chris and Graham Thompson won the crucial doubles against Nigel Foreshew and Patryk Kovacz.  In reply Nigel won 2 singles for Collection with Patryk and Harry Jutle contributing 1 win each. YMCA Pterodactyls were held 5-5 by newly promoted Manor Park Travellers thanks to a superb display by Craig Preece winning all of his matches, Wayne Chopping and Dave White won 2 each for Ptetodactyls and also combined  to take the doubles. Toby Wren and Martin Snee earned vital victories to earn the draw for Travellers. Manor Park Express defeated Manor Park Pumas in a closely fought match in which 5 games went to 5 sets by 6-4 with 2 wins for Dave Woodyatt and Pete Griffiths and 1 for Ray Page. Dave and Pete also took the key doubles against Geoff Woodward and Jon Dyke. Geoff and Dave Hallam won 2 games each for Pumas.

Division 2 Report.

Crackpots E continued their fine start to the season with a 10-0 thrashing of Scuttling Gang thanks to maximums from Matt Hodges, Colin Dolding and Dave Steen. Manor Park Wanderers responded to their first week defeat against Scuttling Gang with a 6-4 victory against Malvern Tornados thanks to a maximum from Stan Mason supported by Dave Bradley and Charlie Burford with 1 win each. Ethan Webb and Ben Meredith continued to show their development at the  higher level with 2 wins each for Tornados. Poolbrook  Dynamos defeated YMCA Vulcans 7-3 with second maximums from Geoff Burford and John Phillips supported by Tom James with 1, Richard Bennett and newcomer Paul Egerton replied with single wins for Vulcans. Richard and Simon Harrison also won a tight 5 sets doubles against Geoff and Tom.

Division 3 Report.

X Police earned their 2nd victory with an 8-2 win against Poolbrook Panthers  thanks to another maximum for Steve Mulka supported by Alan Holmes and Alan Preece with 2 wins each. Collette James was in excellent form for Panthers claiming 2 singles victories. Abbeydowne defeated Poolbrook Rangers 7-3 thanks t a maximum from Chris Burrows supported by  Niels Errikson with 2 and Len Hitchman with 1. Nick Haggar with 2 and Rob Weston 1 replied for Rangers. Manor Park Devils continued their fine start to the season with a 9-1 victory against Poolbrook Juniors thanks to maximums from Liz Hallam and Paul Lythgoe supported by Denis Chetwood with 2, James Glazzard replied for Juniors. Manor Park Crackpots won their 1st match of the season with a narrow 6-4 win against Crackpots B, Stephen Lindner again winning his 3 supported by Ed Palmer with 2. Alan Eldridge 2, Alan Forsdyke 1 and Ted Cates 1 replied for Crackpots B, Stephen and Ed  won the crucial doubles against both Alans.
