Division 1 Report

In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 Broadheath Belters maintained their title challenge with a 7-3 win against Ledbury Lions thanks to another maximum from Michael Siket supported by  Brett Brining with 2 and John Stalker 1. Hong Kong National Yeh Tsz Yan replied with 2 for Lions and Richard Smith 1. Michael and Brett also combined to take the doubles. Manor Park Pumas enjoyed an excellent 7-3 win against Manor Park Express thanks to a maximum from Dave Hallam supported by 2 each from Geoff Woodward and Geoff Burford. Pete Griffiths replied with 2 for Express and combined with Dave Woodyatt to take the doubles. Manor Park Travellers shared the points with Pterodactyls in a 5-5 draw thanks to 3 excellent wins for Craig Preece and in the doubles with Toby Wren against Svilen Andreev  and Dave White. Toby also secured a singles victory with Svilen 2, Dave 2 and Geoff Burford 1 securing the draw for Pterodactyls.  The top of the table clash between Ledbury Collection and CSSC Ramblers ended in a 7-3 victory for the latter thanks to a maximum from Chris Hewitt supported by Graham Thompson with 2 and Alan Salisbury 1. Nigel Foreshew 2 and Patryk Kovacz 1 replied for Collection  

Division 2 Report

Manor Park Wanderers defeated Tornados 7-3 with a maximum for Stan Mason supported by Charlie Burford with 2 and Collette James with 1, James Mulka with 2 and Ethan Webb 1 replied for Tornados. Crackpots D defeated Upton 6-4 with Stewart Moss winning 3 and Frank Lane 2 whilst also combining to take the doubles. Pete Nash 2 and Peter Quy and Roger Davies with 1 each replied for Upton. Poolbrook Dynamos shared the points with YMCA Vulcans in an exciting 5-5 draw with 2 wins each for Geoff Burford and John Phillips and 1 from Tom James. Mark Clinton was in excellent form for Vulcans winning all his 3 games and the doubles with Richard Bennett who also earned a singles victory. Crackpots E maintained their 100% record with a 7-3 victory against Scuttling Gang with Colin Dolding again winning his 3 matches supported by Matt Hodges with 2 and
Dave Steen with 1  Ray Davies 2 and Richard Cullis 1 replied for Scuttling Gang.

Division 3 Report

X Police maintained their title challenge with a 10-0 whitewash of Poolbrook Panthers with maximums for Steve and James Mulka and Alan Preece. Devils are in hot pursuit thanks to an 8-2 win against Poolbrook Juniors with a maximum from Paul Lythgoe supported by Ralph Cook and Denis Chetwood with 2 each. Karl Richards played superbly for Juniors earning 2 fine victories. Poolbrook Rangers defeated   Abbeydowne 9-1 with 3 wins each for Nick Haggar and Rob Weston and 2 for Barry Barwick, Chris Burrows earned the consolation point for Abbeydowne.  Crackpots B and Manor Park Crackpots shared a 5-5 draw thanks to a superb performance by Ed Palmer who won all his 3 games and the doubles with Bob Hunt. Bob also took a singles win to earn an unlikely draw as they were only able to field 2 players, Stan Ginn and Alan Forsdike
earned singles wins for Crackpots B.
