 Division 1 Report

In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 YMCA Daredevils were again in magnificent form defeating Manor Park Travellers 10-0 with Craig Preece, Wayne Chopping and Svilen Andreev again unbeaten although both Toby Wren and Geoff Burford took Svilen and Wayne to 5 sets. Ledbury Collection overcame Crackpots E 7-3 thanks to maximums from Nigel Foreshew and Patryk Kovacz supported by Ann Barnes with 1, Matt Hodges and Colin Dolding won single games for Crackpots in reply. CSSC Ramblers defeated Manor Park Pumas 6-4 thanks to a maximum from Chris Hewitt including the doubles with Graham Thompson who also won 2. Geoff Woodward with 2 and Dave Hallam and Dominic Weston with 1 each replied for Pumas. Ledbury Lions enjoyed a 6-4 victory against Ledbury Rovers  thanks to another maximum from Yeh Tze Yan (Nancy) supported by  Steve Meredith with 2 Ady Marshall 2,Bob Marshall and Bryan Farr 1 replied for Rovers.  

Division 2 Report

In Division 2  YMCA Vulcans drew 5-5 with Scuttling Gang  for whom Richard McKenna and Ray Davies won 2 and Richard Cullis 1, Vulcans replied with 3 for Richard Bennett and John Cawthra 1  who also combined to win the doubles. Malvern Tornados defeated Crackpots D 6-4 thanks to a maximum from Dominic Weston supported  by Ethan Webb and Dave Brown with 1 each. Crackpots D replied with 2 each for Simon Morgan and Stewart Moss. Patriots were again in fine form defeating fellow Poolbrook side Phoenix 9-1 with Steve Glazzard and Graham Collier again winning maximums and 2 for Dave Brown, Steve Mulka earned the single win for Phoenix.  Bromyard Kestrels were defeated 7-3 by Poolbrook Dynamos  thanks to a maximum from Keith Bredin  supported by Tom James with 2 and John Phillips 1, Ed Tinton 2 and Clifford Knock 1 replied for Kestrels.   

Division 3 Report

Another Dave Hayes maximum for Nomads could not prevent a 7-3 defeat against Poolbrook Rangers for whom Dave Brown, Nick Haggar and Dave Bradley won 2 each.  Poolbrook Phoenix 2nds were defeated 7-3 by Abbeydowne for whom Niels Eriksson  won 3 supported by John Miller with 2 and Len Hitchman 1. Will Jones 2 and Reece Taylor Locke 1 replied with victories for Phoenix. Stephen Lindner was again in fine form for Manor Park Crackpots winning his 3 and the doubles with Ed Palmer who also won 2 singles in a 6-4 win against Poolbrook Juniors. Alan Goodman with 2 and Karl Richards and Zoe Snee with 1 each replied for Juniors.  Crackpots B drew with Poolbrook Panthers 5-5, Alan Eldridge winning his 3 singles supported by Ted Cates and Alan Forsdyke with 1 each, Ian Sage with 2 singles wins and the doubles with Collette James who along with Dina Murdle also won 1 singles match each.
