Division 1 Report

In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 Ledbury Rovers eased their relegation fears with a 10-0 victory against an understrength Ledbury Lions thanks to maximums from  James Dance, Bob  Marshall and Ady Marshall. CSSC Ramblers defeated  Manor Park Pumas 9-1 thanks to 3 wins each for Chris Hewitt and Graham Thompson and 2 for Alan Salisbury. Geoff Woodward replied with a single win for Pumas. Broadheath Belters kept up their chase of Ramblers with a close 6-4 victory against Collection with another maximum for Michael Siket supported by Brett Brining with 2, Michael and Brett also combined to take the doubles. Patryk Kovacz with 2 and Nigel Foreshew and Ann Barnes with 1 each replied for Collection.  Pterodactyls defeated Manor Park Express 7-3 thanks to 3 wins each and the doubles for Wayne Chopping and Dave White, Pete Griffiths, Dave Woodyatt and Dale Dickinson replied with single wins for Express.

 

Division 2 Report

Title Winners Crackpots E maintained their 100% record with a 7-3 victory against Vulcans thanks to maximums from Dave Steen and Matt Hodges supported by Anthea Knight with 1. Vulcans replied with single wins for John Cawthra and Richard Bennett who also combined to take the doubles.   Poolbrook Dynamos eased past Tornados 7-3 with 2 wins each for Geoff Burford, John Phillips and Tom James. However the star player on the night was Ben Meredith who confirmed his youthful promise with 3 excellent wins for Tornados.  Scuttling Gang defeated Crackpots D 6-4 thanks to 3 wins from  Richard Cullis supported by Ken Hipwell and Bill Smith with 1 each, Stewart Moss and Bob Rhodes with 2 each replied for Crackpots.  

 

Division 3 Report

Bromyard Hopefuls maintained their title challenge with an 8-2 win against Manor Park Crackpots thanks to a maximum for Brian Kitchener supported by Martin and David Gwilt with 2 each. Stephen Lindner replied with 2 for Crackpots.  Devils kept up their promotion hopes thanks to a 7-3 win against Poolbrook Panthers with 3 wins for  Paul Lythgoe , 2 for Pete Harding and 1 for Denis Chetwood. Ewan Gear was in fine form for Panthers earning 2 victories with Ian Sage contributing 1.   Poolbrook Rangers defeated  Juniors 6-4 with 2 wins each for Phil Smethurst, Rob Weston and James Davis on his debut although James Glazzard showed his significant progress by remaining unbeaten for Juniors. Abbeydowne defeated Crackpots B 6-4 with Neils Erikksson and Chris Burrows taking 2 wins each and the doubles together whilst Len Hitchman also enjoyed a singles victory. Stan Ginn with 2 and Alan Eldridge and Alan Forsdike with 1 each replied for Crackpots.
