Division 1 Report.

In Paperstation Malvern League Division 1 CSSC Ramblers commenced their season with a  7-3 victory against Ledbury Rovers. Chris Hewitt and Graham Thompson won all their matches and combined to win the doubles with Rovers replying with wins for Andy Castle,Bryan Farr and James Dance. Newly formed team The Beacon Boys overcame Crackpots E 6-4 thanks to winning the doubles and a maximum from Joe Higgs together with single wins from Mark James and Darrell Willshire, Colin Dolding and Matt Hodges won 2 each for Crackpots. Bromyard Collection also enjoyed a narrow 6-4 victory against Manor Park Pumas with Nigel Foreshew taking 3 games for Collection ably supported by Harry Jutle and Brian Kitchener with 1 each, Nigel also combined with Harry to take the crucial doubles against Geoff Woodward and Jon Dyke. Geoff 2 supported by Jon and Kyle Day 1 each replied for Pumas. Manor Park Travellers drew 5-5 with Ledbury Lions thanks to 2 wins from Toby Wren and 1 each for Geoff Burford and Martin Snee, however the star of the night was Mike Keeley with a maximum for Lions on his return to the league supported by Steve Meredith with 2. Finally Manor Park Express defeated newly promoted Poolbrook Patriots 6-4 thanks to 2 wins each for Ray Page, Pete Griffiths and Trevor Simmons. Patriots replied with 2 wins for Dominic Weston and 1 for Graham Collier who also combined to take the doubles. 

Division 2 Report.

Poolbrook Dynamos defeated Bromyard Kestrels 6-4 thanks to a maximum from John Stalker supported by John Phillips and Tom James with 1 win each, Clifford Knock and Tony Sales replied with 2 wins each for Kestrels. Poolbrook Rangers enjoyed a narrow 6-4 win against YMCA Vulcans with 3 wins from Eliot Brandwood and 1 each for Dave Bradley and David Brown, Vulcans replied with 2 wins for Richard Bennett and single wins for Paul Egerton and  John Cawthra.

Division 3 Report.

Poolbrook Juniors confirmed their continuing progress with a 5-5 draw against Crackpots B thanks to wins for  Karl Richards 2 and Zoe Snee and Reece Taylor Locke 1 each. Alan Eldridge and Stan Ginn 2 and Ted Cates 1 earned a share of the spoils for Crackpots. Abbeydowne got their season underway with a 7-3 victory against newly formed Malvern U3a with Graham Browning and Chris Burrows both securing maximums, Dennis Loynes, Neil Angell and David Cornelius replied with 1 each for U3a.
