Handicap Final - Manor Park Travellers 402 Bromyard Eagles 435(149)

The main final of the Malvern Table Tennis Handicap Final was won by 3rd division Bromyard Eagles against 1st division Manor Park Travellers by 33 points thanks largely to an excellent performance by Clifford Knock who took a set off Martin Snee, conceding only 5 points in total, he also held Geoff Burford to just 10 points despite losing all 4 sets. He also won all 4 sets against 3rd Division Zoe Snee who was playing up to replace Toby Wren who was unavailable. Neil Gladwin also took 3 sets against Zoe and 1 set off Martin and also teamed up with Cliff to take the 1st set in the doubles against Geoff and Martin. Zoe confirmed her excellent progress this season by playing superbly to take all  4 sets against Tony Barbe but overall Travellers were unable to recover the 149 point handicap and Eagles became the 2nd successive Bromyard team to win the competition in their debut season.

Ledbury Rovers 433 Scuttling Gang 429(185)

The secondary competition was a closer match with 1st division Ledbury Rovers overcoming their 2nd division opponents Scuttling Gang by just 4 points.All 3 Rovers players Ady Marshall, James Dance and  Bryan Farr won 11 of their 12 sets with Ady and James also winning 3 of their 4 doubles sets against Richard Cullis and Ray Davies. Ken Hipwell won 2 singles sets for Scuttling Gang and Richard Cullis 1 against James.

Division 1 Play Off  - Poolbrook Dynamos 1 Crackpots E 9

Crackpots E preserved their 1st division status with a comfortable 9-1 victory against 2nd Division runners up Poolbrook Dynamos with maximums for both Colin Dolding and Matt Hodges supported by Dave Steen with 2 wins, John Phillips replied with a single win for Dynamos.

Division 2 Play Off -   Bromyard Eagles 7 Crackpots D 3

Bromyard Eagles crowned a successful week by earning promotion to Division 2 with a 7-3 win against Crackpots D thanks largely to a maximum from Rob Wilcox who also combined with Clifford Knock to take the doubles against Bob Rhodes and Frank Lane. Clifford also enjoyed 2 singles wins with Neil Gladwin also contributing a victory, Bob with 2 wins and Frank 1 replied for Crackpots.
