Bill Ainsworth made his debut for Ravenshead Riots, but couldn't have had a tougher debut against the league favourites.

In Pete Hodgson’s first match this season for Jacksdale B, he put in a convincing display winning all his games 3-0 and with the support of Kalpesh Bhatt who also won all his Games and Russ Webster (2), they came out convincing winners over Zygabyte B 9-1.

Kev Cope gave the Zygabyte team a consolation point with a 3-1 win over Russ Webster. This was Zygabyte B's first game this season with their first game being postponed.

Boothy's recorded their first win of the season against a Jacksdale A team who only fielded 2 players.

Player of the Match Bob Angus won both his games for the home team with Malcolm Allsop winning 2 of his 3 games for the visitors. Stuart Chadwick and Rod Sampson then teamed up to win the doubles to give Boothy's a confidence boosting victory in their first season back in Div One.

Glen Holmes the Captain and Player of the Match, in their first game of the season led his team to a very long awaited league victory. This was the first League victory by Jacksdale C since February 2014 and they beat the promoted Ravenshead Rhinos team 8-2. Russ Stevens also completed the Hat-Trick and Mick Pinegar won 2.

Rhinos who in the first week in Division 1 won 9-1, they came across a tougher game vs Jacksdale C, with only Steve Scott for the Rhinos winning a single, and he Joined Graham Smith in the doubles to salvage 2 points on the night.

In the first game there was a monumental battle in the 3rd game vs Russ Stevens & Graham Smith, with Russ just winning 20-18. Steve Scott also had good battles in all his games, losing to Glen 3-0 but every game there was on 2 points in it, he then beat Mick Pinegar in 5, and then lost to Russ Stevens in 5.

A welcome win for Jacksdale C though, and could be a good kick start for the season for them.

This week in their first Home match at the River Maun Recreation Centre they played Boothy's Ravens, the match was nip and tuck with only 1 game in it all the way to 5-4, when River Maun took the doubles and the 6-4 victory.

Mark Sansom was joined this week with 2 Debutants to the league Michael Rand & Richard Gillitt, Michael Rand won 2 of his 3 which is a great start, and Richard Gillitt was unlucky losing 2 games in the 5th Set.

Boothys Ravens will be very unhappy with their start 2 losses out of 2, but it’s early on in the season and plenty of time to comeback.

Stan Zygadlo won 2 games for the Ravens with Chris Tilstone & Eric Harding both winning 1

Andy King debuts for his new team Hucknall 50+ and put in a solid performance winning all his singles and Joining Roy Drew to win in the doubles, to take the POM and also guide his new team to a 6-4 victory over Jacksdale D.

All the singles games were all straightforward 3-0 wins - 5 for Hucknall and 4 for Jacksdale D, so going into the doubles Hucknall were 5-4 so all to play for.

Roy & Andy won the final game 11-4 over Alan & John to take the match 6-4

Both these teams lost in the 1st week, so it was important for both to win this one and the Rebels obliged, leaving Spin Doctors with 2 back to back 7-3 losses.

Graham Stent won 2 games for the Spin Doctors and Glyn Payne 1
