A convincing win for Upnor at home to Luton 4 who now find themselves 18 points adrift at the bottom of Div 1. Jack Coleman played very well for Luton beating Dave Gracey in straight legs and then leading Peter Worthington 2-1 in legs before the Upnor man won legs 4 and 5 for Player of the Match award number 11 of the season. Marylyn Dudgeon also remained unbeaten on the night but had to withstand a determined fightback from Keith Ball before getting the 5th leg 11-8.
