This match was played on Monday 8th April as it couldn't be played on the original date. A result which effectively ends Rainham 2's hopes of getting 2nd place in Div 1 as Howard 3 proved too strong on the night. Only John Coleman was able to get on the scoresheet for Rainham when he beat John Kane in the 7th singles as teammates Mick Hambelton and Nick Trythall had no answer to Alex Clarke and David Wong. The latter took the Player of the Match Award, not dropping a leg in singles or Doubles. The two teams will meet again on Wednesday but Rainham are now 10 points behind Howard.
