A great match with five going the distance. Martin Ball had two fifth leg victories in his maximum, apparently he was very lucky against Alan Bridle!. The latter posted two wins and continues his fine form. Vinnie Mcaneney put his fifth leg hoodoo behind him, with two wins!, Joe Johnssen and Terry Clapperton his victims. 
Paul Sidders is coming back into  form and had a excellent fouth leg win over Terry Clapperton. The doubles went to the wire, with old veterans Ball and Johnssen just edging home to secure the draw
