Dear Member,

Welcome to the new 2017-18 season of the Mid-Cornwall Table Tennis League.  We have only four teams per division this year but we are maintaining two divisions , each team will play each other three times.

We will play a Handicap League after Christmas involving all 8 teams playing each other once on handicap using the same format for matches that we have in previous years for the handicap knockout competition.

Remember the rule change this season that players can only play for another team in a higher division on two occasions this season if they play more they have to remain playing at the higher level.

Match cards again go to Allan Brooks this season, (via e-mail or post preferably), and your matches only count if you are an Affiliated Playing Member of Table Tennis England.

If you are not, any matches you play and win will not count for your team.  We are using the Table Tennis 365, which is a computerised league system and it only recognises registered players.  You have been warned!  All league fixtures, club, team and officer contact details are on the Mid-Cornwall website accessed through the https://www.tabletennis365.com/Mid-Cornwall web address.

Please try not  to postpone matches if at all possible. There are some free weeks set aside just before Christmas and at the end of the Handicap League schedule.

I look forward to meeting you all during the season and wish you “Good Ping” for another year.

Yours in sport – Di Jermyn (Hon. Gen. Sec.)
