Beaumont Nomads B secured second position in the 1st Division of the Middlesbrough & District Table tennis League when they played a 5 all draw with the team in third place, Nunthorpe A, in the final week’s fixtures.

Ormesby A have won the First Division title of the Middlesbrough and District Table Tennis League when they defeated their closest rivals Beaumont Nomads B by 10 sets to 0 in last week’s fixtures.

With a 9-1 victory over Ormesby D, Beaumont Accountancy Nomads B strengthened their bid for honours in the First Division of the Middlesbrough & District Table Tennis League last week.  Beaumont won the match with hat tricks from Kevin Linsley and Stephen Baines.

Ormesby A have consolidated their lead at the top of Division One of the Middlesbrough and District Table       Tennis League when they defeated the mid-table Ormesby B team by 10 sets to 0 in last week’s fixtures.

With Ormesby A building up an 18 point lead at the top of Division 1 with five matches remaining, some of the interest in this Division focuses on the battle between teams in second and third place; Beaumont Accountancy Nomads B and Nunthorpe A.
