KO CUP FINAL

Ormesby L, all Junior team have won the Middlesbrough and District Table Tennis League Knock Out Handicap Cup competition beating an Ormesby B, a First Division team by 5-1 in the final. 

Edward Adams and Jak Ali were the stars of the Ormesby team.

With two wins each from Noel Clerkin, Albert Wilson and Huw Williams East Cleveland clinched the second division title of the Middlesbrough and District Table Tennis League with a 6-4 victory over Ormesby F.

With a 9-1 victory by Swerve A over Ormesby A the top of the first division championship of the Middlesbrough and District Table Tennis League title race has been taken into the last week of fixtures.   

Ormesby A also have 111 points with a match in hand.

A 6-4 victory for Beaumont Accountancy Nomads A over Swerve A in the championship race for the first division title of the Middlesbrough & District Table Tennis League meant that both teams lost valuable points in their bid to clinch the title.

Swerve C with a 7-3 victory over Beaumont Accountancy Nomads A in last weeks fixtures in the 1st Division of the Middlesbrough and District Table Tennis League have put a significant dent in their opponents hopes to  win the division.

Stephen Brunskill was the most successful Swerve player, with two wins whilst Calum McRae did well to beat Mark Walpole at 12-10 in the fifth.

Leaders Ormesby F and third placed Beaumont Accountancy Nomads D both lost points in their bid to win honours in the 2nd Division of the Middlesbrough and District Table Tennis League.

The title race at the top of Division 2 of the Middlesbrough and District Table Tennis League tightened last week after the division leaders Ormesby F were defeated 8-2 by East Cleveland.
