Dedicated website for National Council launched

A dedicated website for National Council has just been launched.

The purpose of the website is to be the central source of information for everything relating to National Council.

It will serve a dual purpose. Firstly, it will provide councillors with a place that they can get information about meetings and download important documents from a secure repository. It will allow them to continue the work they do at council meetings, using a secure forum and voting system. Secondly and perhaps more importantly it will offer council the opportunity to engage with the members easily. The new website will be kept up to date with news from meetings, ask questions of the membership via polls, provide an open forum where members can air their views and most importantly provide the direct contact details for their councillor.

Newly elected Chairman Chris Dangerfield said:

"National Council has represented the members successfully for decades, but in more recent years the way in which players wish to communicate has changed and we need to adapt to this in order to ensure National Council provides valued resource for our sport."

“I am quite excited at the prospect of hearing from the members on a variety of topics. I believe this website will become a place where members can raise issues that concern them, so that answers can be given and where appropriate action by councillors can be taken to address concerns.”
