Thatcham Scavengers made it two in a row with a 7-3 victory against Thatcham Choppers Darren Harper, Bob Lynch and Spencer Harvey all won twice for Scavengers but all were beaten by Jeremy Skelton who.s maximum got Choppers a point
Thatcham Spartans got there first win with Malcolm Record Celia Hooker and Eric Panting all winning twice and Hooker and Panting achieving doubles together this giving them a 7-3 win over Inkpen Insufferables for whom Bob Nash had two wins
Woolton Hill Woodpeckers had mixed fortunes first losing 6-4 to West Ilsley B who,s Steve Cobrin and Lionel Sheppard both had two wins each and the doubles between them Although Ajai Kamath got a triple for Woodpeckers it was not enough for the team win
In their second match Woodpeckers were victorios by 6-4 against Woolton Hill Racketeers with Kamath again getting a maximum and with Dan Hyde and Mary Cherowbrier both getting one they had to win the doubles which they did to get the win Panos Stemitsitis and Robert Cox both achieved two wins each for the losers.
Thatcham Hawks beat Thatcham Tonados by 7-3 with captain Ian Dickason getting a treble and Dave Norman a double Tornados best was Dan O'Neill who was a winner twice
