Thatcham Colts only picked up two points in their two matches this week in their bid to get out of the bottom two
First they went down 7-3 to Woolton Hill Badgers with Richard Fettes winning three for them and Simon  Sonsino and Sue Purton two each Joseph Cornmell scoring twice for Colts
In their second match they lost 6-4 to bottom of the table Thatcham C although Cornmell had a maximum two wins each for Bao Tuyen Ly and Ray Beeks one from  Nestor Ceron and the doubles gave Thatcham C victory.
Scorpions held on to top spot and lead by 5 points from Jeffenauts but have played two games more This week they had a good 8-2 win over Kintbury Cobras with trebles from Bill Stamatiou and Simon Barter also winning the doubles together.
AWE Fission Spartans and Scavengers are all in with an outside chance 
Spartans got an excellent 9-1 victory against Ashford Hill Misfits with Hat tricks from Celia Hooker and Eric Panting with Malcolm Record winning two
Meanwhile Scavengers fought back from 4-1 down to force a draw with Wildcats Bob Lynch and Spencer Harvey both  won twice for Scavengers but could not match a perfect three for  Wildcats Archie Dyson .
Inkpen Insufferables have now won the title and promotion after defeating Woolton Hill Woodpeckers 7-3 with maximums from Bob Nash and Rohit Sengupta and taking the doubles together as well
Thatcham Hawks got a good draw at Kintbury against Outlaws due to an excellent three wins by Christine Milne and two from Dave Norman .Dave Rawlings replied with a double for Outlaws
A and E Specials got a 5-5 draw with West Ilsley mainly due to a treble from Lorraine Mortimer andone from youngster Dan O'Neil who also assisted Mortimer in the doubles win Steve Cobrin and Deryck Crossley both got a brace each for Ilsley
