Ashford Hill Ramblers need one point this week out of two matches  to get the league title but the real battle seems to be for second place
Kintbury Titans are second at the moment but dropped one point when winning by 7-3 against Thatcham Colts with both Nat Richardson and Glen Freeman getting maximums.
Thatcham A are 6 points behind Titans but have two games in hand and this week they defeated Jog 8-2 with three from Ross Saxby and two each from Tony Brown and Richard Rosinski but Thatcham did not have it all their own way and Rosinski had to pull off two five set wins. Adan Pacyna won both Jog's wins.

Although Sajish Pavitran won all three and had a hand in the doubles win for Thatcham Dragons they still lost the match 6-4 to West Ilsley B with Lionel Sheppard, Steve Cobrin and Deryck Crossley all winning two each
The two groups playing in the finals were well contested but with Celia Hooker of Thatcham Spartans undefeated in Group 1 and Sajish Pavitran doing likewise in group two an exciting final was on hand.
Hooker had to give Pavitran 5-7 but after leading 19-15 in the first lost  21-19 meaning she was the 7.7 behind Hooker pulled out all the stops in the second set winning 21-14 but failed by .7 making Pavitran the win
