Jill Knightley made a rare appearance but managed to grind out victories over Ross Wilmshurst and Judith Cook in deciders.
North Hill A overcame a determined effort from Budehaven B as their long trip to the North Cornwall coast proved worthwhile in a 9-1 victory.

Defending champions Helland remain fourth despite a 9-1 success at Whitstone Wanderers.

In Division Two, Budehaven D are a point ahead of North Hill B at the top after a 9-1 victory over Bridgerule A.
Alan Quilter grabbed the visitors’ solitary point against Robin Worden, but the duo of Sam Jennings and Tim Orchard were too good on the night in winning all three.

Ian Westaway beat Michael Kinger in the first match of the night, but from there North Hill took control, winning the remaining six matches to go alongside the three forfeits.
Every match Launceston play seems to be close but they were on the right end of the 6-4 scoreline at Crackington C.
Although Lois Atkin was unlucky to lose all three, David Hughes (2) and Stephen Parsons were in excellent form — the latter winning all of his matches including coming back from 2-1 down to beat Simon Patterson.
Hughes and Parsons also won the doubles with the home side’s points being earned by Patterson, James Ellis (2) and Trevor Dean.
Altarnun A and Budehaven C couldn’t be separated at Altarnun Village Hall as they battled out a 5-5 draw.
