BUDEHAVEN A are the early pacesetters in Division One after a 6-4 victory over Helland B at Budehaven sports hall.

Jim Rickwood was Helland’s best player as he recorded two victories and pushed Salisbury hard in a close five-setter.

Reigning Division One champions Blisland pulled out of the league just a week before the season, so there was just one fixture in the top tier with Budehaven A taking on Crackington A.

THE North Cornwall Table Tennis Association held their annual presentation evening at Trethorne Golf Club on Thursday, May 11.

Over 40 people were in attendance as they tucked into a carvery followed by dessert

THE North Cornwall Table Tennis League divisions got underway again last week following a month’s break.

The last round of fixtures were played on the week commencing December 12, as the David Viggers Tournament was held before Christmas.
