Kevin who after a slow start, losing early on to Rhys Eyles really hit great form, and dominated his opponents in the latter stages of the competition, a fine winner. Malcolm Overson showed the standard of years gone but finally ran out of steam against Kevin especially after his titanic struggle against Dave Ewen in the semi’s. Last year’s winner Robin Gale had the misfortune to run into Kevin in the semi- final.Well done to Veronica, the only lady competitor, who went 21-20 against all 3 of her opponents, and finally my thanks to all who competed in and supported this event.
