HITCHIN TABLE TENNIS CENTRE

NHTTA members warming up for their evening matches

Following a successful application for National Lottery funding, the Hitchin Table Tennis Centre opened in September 1998
. Shared with the Hitchin Boys' School, which has use of the hall during the day, the centre is also used by badminton clubs in the area.

The home venue for a number of North Herts table tennis league clubs, the centre can host up to ten games simultaneously, most league matches being played on Monday evenings. The centre is also the venue of the Summer League, hosts an annual open table tennis tournament and county matches are also held here.

A number of table tennis coaching sessions are held at the centre and whilst these are aimed primarily at juniors, keen players of all ages and abilities are welcome. Further details can be found here.

A map showing the location of the centre can be viewed here: Map of Hitchin Table Tennis Centre.
