Anna Wilson was in fine form as she won the County Junior Girls Under 18 tournament, dropping just one end all day.

After winning her first three games in quick succession she had to come from behind to beat Olivia Ross 11-13, 11-3, 11-7, 11-7 in her biggest test of the day.

She brushed aside Lana Orbell in her penultimate game to set up a showdown with Evie Elliott, who had also won five out of five.

But it was Wilson who came through against the Westfield player 11-9, 11-5, 11-9 to take the title.

There were few upsets on the day but sixth-ranked Swati Jethwa claimed two scalps to finish fourth.

After scraping past Olivia Ross 6-11, 13-11, 8-11, 15-13, 13-11 she came from behind to beat Bipasha Ganatra in the last game of the day 11-8, 7-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-7.

Final positions:

1. Anna Wilson (six wins)

2. Evie Elliott (five wins)

3. Lana Orbell (four wins)

4. Swati Jethwa (three wins)

5. Olivia Ross (two wins)

Girls Top10 2018

Only 6 girls were participating this year but the top 3 were competing again and this time it was Evie Elliott who played very well to get the better of Anna Wilson, last year's winner, and Rebecca Kimber who was again third. Evie in fact only lost one game in the tournament - to Rebecca Kimber - winning all the others 3-0.

The final order was 1. Evie Elliott, 2. Anna Wilson, 3. Rebecca Kimber. 4. Ashleigh Maynard, 5. Bipasha Ganatra, 6. Swati Jethwa
