Northumberland Table Tennis update
County Teams
The County Senior team will be in action over the week-end of 5th/6th December in Draycott and the team selected is Andrew Wilkinson (Cramlington) Chun Yin Yu(NECA) Jim Stamas (NESLC) Christine Burke(Byker) and Lynsey Storey (Cramlington).
The Veterans team play at Wolverhampton on 28th/29th November and will be represented by Eddie Smith(NESLC) Dave Robson (Byker) Jim Stamas (NESLC) and Karen Henry (North Fire)
 
League Representative Teams
The Cadets played their first session of matches at Ormesby in the Northern Section of the National Cadet League and were represented by Adam Webster, Andrew Matfin and Tim Bryce. Whilst acquitting themselves quite well in what, for the three boys, were the first ever representative matches and against the three strongest sides in the division they lost all three. They went down 2 – 7 to Darlington, 1 – 8 to Bishop Auckland A and 0 – 9 to Ormesby A.
Adam and Andrew also played for the Juniors along with Thaaquib Saleem in the Northern Section of the National Junior League with a great deal of success. Three out of four matches were won as follows:
7 - 2 over Blitz(Gainsborough) 8 – 1 against Ormesby II and 9– 0 against Ormesby III. They were ,however, beaten 7 – 2 by Bishop Auckland II 
 
Cramlington Junior 2 Star Tournament
Peter Smallcombe of Jarrow who is playing for Cramlington in the League swept the board at the recent tournament, beating Robert Renton (Springwell) in the final of the Junior Boys Singles, Sam Hume(Lanchester) in the Cadet Boys Singles and Adam Szabo (Rotherham) the Under 13 Boys Singles.  Szabo won the Under 11 Boys Singles with Lewis Ellams, also from Rotherham, the runner up.
The Junior Boys Plate final was an all Cramlington affair with Tim Bryce coming out on top against Jamie Hall,
Holly Williams of Stockton won the Junior Girls with Katie Peacock (Darlington) the runner up. The Cadet girls went to Rana Rassem of Darlington with Katie Peacock(also Darlington) runner up,while Jessica Dunn of Thornaby beat Kerenza Baker from Isle of Man in the Junior Girls Plate final.

Northumbria League
Unfortunately Seaburn Dene have resigned from Division One.
Otherwise,the season is progressing well and there are not too many outstanding matches. Those that are outstanding are as follows:
Premier Division:  Springwell B v Newton A    Saint Chad’s v Springwell A – both have rearranged dates
Division One: Matfen A v Springwell C which has been rearranged
Division Two: Sacriston Aces v Newton B rearranged.  Cramlington Swifts v Cramlington Trojans – postponed but Dale not informed of new date
Division Three: Brandon Anacondas v YMCA N.Tyneside B rearranged.  Saints v Brandon – postponed but new date not given to Dale
                         Cramlington Spartans v Old England FATTS – postponed but new date not given to Dale
Division Four: Brandon Brave Hearts v Cramlington Lions rearranged.  Cramlington Lions v Cramlington Falcons –postponed but no new date given to Dale
NOTE Brandon Anacondas in Division Three and Cramlington Lions in Division Four can not postpone or accept a postponement until one of their outstanding matches has been played.
