Caereinion A v Llansilin Drovers (5-5)

This was a good competative match with open play from both sides with only one singles match and the doubles being won in straight sets. Christopher Chennetier in his first season  is now proving a difficult opponent taking wins against Pete Scott and Bill Coxhead. Andrejet Bartozer also played his part with wins against Bill Coxhead and Harvey Kynaston. For the Drovers Kynaston and Scott both beat Phil Langford and also combined well in the doubles to secure a draw.

Morda Eagles vs Kinnerley Crusaders (7-3)

Morda Eagles were at the severe disadvantage of being a player down, but despite this Marcin Stepowski and Ian Ordilliano pulled out some of their best table tennis to diffuse the problem. They breezed through most of the games, with only Iain Botley holding up resistance, taking a set off the pair respectively, but it wasn't enough to stop the Eagles getting the victory.
