In the Presidents Trophy quarter-finals Llandudno Junction proved too strong forCraig-y-don B winning all ten encounters, securing the match by 34 points. Rob Walker was particularly ruthless restricting Ged Haresnape to 15 points, yet he was also involved in the closest match where Bob Hughes representing Craig-y don Bamassed 44 points. The other quarter–final was also went the way of a first division team, who won all their matches. Y Morfa B beat Rhyl B by14 points. The target forRhyl B was to reach an average of 23 points per game. In the deciding encounter, John Hughes was set the difficult task of amassing 36 points against Rob Stanway. He worked his way to creditable 21 but it is Y Morfa B that go into the hat for the semi-final draw.
