In first division, Trinity A ease 23 points clear of the chasing pack in second position having eased past Rhyl A 10-0. Matthew Fox, Abhishek Bathula and Ben Moore won their singles without dropping a game, Rhyl were able to secure a game in the doubles. Rhyl A however did manage their first league win of the season beating a weakened Police A 7-3. A maximum for Barrie Russ mainly at the expense of James Wan who won his other two singles matches. James also teamed up withSteve Freeman in the doubles to land the Police their third point. The Conwy derby ended in an emphatic victory for the A team who advance to fourth in the league. The game of the night witnessedAndy Lunt beat Paul Hulme 15-13 in the fifth. Captain Steve Nicholls won all his singles and paired up with Andy to secure the doubles. Both Andy Lunt and Graham Heath each won two of their three matches.
In the second division, Rhyl B move nine points clear following a 9-1 win against Amlwch C. The closest game of the evening resulted in a win for the islanders in a five-game game double match.Police B is placed third in the league, they beat bottom club Rhyl C 10-0. Denbigh B won the Denbigh derby 9-1 in a score line that betrayed the gap between the two teams on the night. Half of the games were decided in the fifth game, with Chris Watkins representing Denbigh C losing all three of her matches in the fifth game.
In the quarter finals of the second division league cup, Trinity C booked their place in the semi-final with an 8-2 victory over Denbigh BJosh Gilmore and Roy Williams each won three, with Don Grigg winning one match for Denbigh C and teaming up with Iain MacGillivray to land the doubles.
